Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid PA Special Education Teaching Certification (required)
• Previous experience in a high school setting preferred but not mandatory
• Strong knowledge of IEP writing and implementation
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction tailored to the diverse needs of high school special education students
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, and families to support students’ academic progress and social development
• Track students’ growth, adapting strategies to optimize learning outcomes
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required trainings
