Senior Project Manager – Construction

Locations: Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore/Washington DC Metro Area
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a confidential construction management and consulting firm seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, educational, government, healthcare, and nonprofit construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development meetings and coordinate project activities with architects, engineers, owners, and consultants.
• Supervise, mentor, and deploy project management staff across multiple projects.
• Lead weekly project management and client meetings.
• Review project schedules, identify potential delays, and evaluate associated cost impacts.
• Assist with the review, negotiation, and administration of AIA contract agreements.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Manage payment applications, vouchers, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project controls.
• Conduct site visits and field inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements, design intent, and owner expectations.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly project status reports.
• Manage punch list completion and project closeout activities.
• Oversee building turnover, occupancy, and warranty-related matters as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of construction project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of AIA contracts and construction administration processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Proficiency with Procore, scheduling software, and cost estimating tools.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Professional Engineers (PEs) are encouraged to apply.
