Business Systems Analyst / Workday
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as Systems Administrator for HR technology including HRMS, ATS, Talent Management, and HR Portal technology.
- Partner with stakeholders (HR, associates, vendors) to determine strategic needs, define specifications, troubleshoot, and implement initiatives.
- Use complex reporting tools to monitor and document cross-process data integration and resolve misalignments.
- Support teams in optimizing design, cleansing legacy data, and prioritizing data conversion.
- Develop and manage business process designs and maintain accuracy of associate data (company, location, position, custom fields, etc.).
- Serve as liaison for SOX compliance with HR, Accounting/Finance, and Auditors.
- Manage audit processes for associate information ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Recommend process improvements related to data utilization and maintenance.
- Perform testing including reviewing specs, creating test scenarios, and overseeing system testing.
- Manage deployment and testing of system patches and new releases.
- Provide system updates and enhancement recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain and provide associate training materials.
- Develop and maintain associate master data standards ensuring legal compliance and policy adherence.
- Serve as Tier 2 Specialist resolving complex technical issues.
- Maintain strong working relationships with business owners as process advocates.
- Track and manage issue resolution processes and risk mitigation.
- Create, maintain, and deliver project status reports to key stakeholders.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Strong configuration experience with ability to work independently on projects
- Broad HCM experience
- Workday recruiting configuration experience
- Strong Workday compensation experience
- Workday Docs experience (preferred)
- Experience creating and managing Job Profile Catalogs and mass updating Job Profiles and impacted areas (Job Requisitions, etc.) via EIB
- Deep knowledge of Job Profile attributes and ability to audit and assess impacts in Workday tenant
- Ability to perform tech gap analysis of Job Profile loads
- Experience with Workday Compensation module: grades, ranges, eligibility rules
- Workday Security experience (preferred)
- Experience with Job Architecture projects (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems and Workday Ecosystem
- High-level understanding of business functions, strategic imperatives, and project management
- Consultative skills and ability to facilitate groups to consensus
- Independent judgment and creative problem-solving in complex environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong business planning, analytical, and conceptual skills
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
- Ability to develop and deliver training methodologies and materials
Education/Experience:
- Some training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar fields generally through a four-year Bachelor’s Degree, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 6+ years of directly related and progressively responsible experience
- Prior HRIS experience required
