About Tria

Tria is Philadelphia’s original casual wine bar, shaping the city’s wine scene since 2004—without ever taking itself too seriously. Our curated wine, cheese, cocktail, and beer menus spotlight passionate small producers. No TVs, just conversation—made livelier, deeper, and cheerier by what’s in the glass.

With the opening of Tria Events, we now offer a dedicated space for wine classes, guided tastings, private events, and community gatherings—extending the Tria experience beyond the bar. We’re looking forward to a busy spring season.

Position Details

The Server Assistant is the person who keeps the whole shift flowing. This role blends food and beverage running, table maintenance, and hosting—supporting the team and shaping the guest experience from the moment someone walks in.

Many of our Server Assistants grow into servers, bartenders, and even managers. With wine classes and private events at Tria Events, there’s real opportunity for variety, learning, and hands-on wine exploration.

To balance the natural ups and downs of a tipped position, Tria guarantees a minimum of $15/hour per pay period.

Things to know before applying:

• Three Shift Minimum: Four scheduled shifts per week required because an invested staff gives better service
• Exclusivity: No other hospitality jobs while on the Tria team
• Long-Term Relationship: Please apply only if you plan to stay at least one year
• Ongoing Training: Paid, mandatory training every other Thursday at 10 am. It's like getting paid to go to wine school. (And learn about cheese, cocktails, beer, and more.)
• Pooled Wages: Staff earnings pooled and distributed fairly to encourage teamwork.
