Job Description:
Join our team as a Cardiology Physician supporting hospital consultations, hospital call duties, and outpatient clinics. This position involves a schedule of one week of hospital call from Monday at 7:00 AM to the following Monday at 7:00 AM, followed by one week of clinic work, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Provide cardiology expertise for hospital consults and outpatient clinics
- Support staff including medical assistants
- Maintain patient care for an average of 20 hospital patients daily and 18 outpatient patients during clinic weeks
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
- Participate in special procedures and routine cardiology care
- Board eligible in cardiology
- Active medical license and DEA certification
- Ability to complete credentialing within approximately 120 days (if not already credentialed with WellSpan)
- Availability for day shifts, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (08:00 - 17:00)
