Staff are respected, appreciated, and treated as valued members of the team. What You'll Do
- Provide active, hands-on support throughout the day
- Assist with personal care, including toileting, bathing, feeding, and mobility
- Support communication using an iPad and basic sign language
- Participate in community outings, recreational activities, and daily routines
- Implement positive behavioral support strategies and collect required documentation
- Work collaboratively with family and other professionals
- Is patient, dependable, and enjoys working with people
- Is comfortable providing personal care
- Remains calm and positive in challenging situations
- Enjoys being active and engaged throughout the day
- Works well as part of a team and is eager to learn
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Gerontology, or a related field OR NADD Certification with relevant experience
- Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Experience with positive behavioral supports and data collection
- CNA or comparable hands-on care experience
- Reliable transportation
- Non-smoker
- Comfortable working in a home with pets
- Able to assist with transfers and personal care
- Successful completion of required background checks
- Starting pay of $38.00 per hour
- Consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule
