Cedarbrook Senior Care & Rehab is seeking a Regular Part-time LPN Restorative Nurse!

*Monday- Friday 3 days/week 10a-6p*

This is professional nursing work providing resident care activities in a County nursing home facility. A position in this class is responsible for resident care, the provision of ancillary services, and the coordination of medical, nursing, social, and related services. A position in this class promotes the physical and mental health of residents by applying the nursing processes. This is done as a member of the interdisciplinary team. A position in this class reports directly to higher level supervisory nursing personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides specific treatments and instructs residents on proper techniques such as exercise, range of motion, ambulation, transfers, activities of daily living, dining and eating skills.
• Oversight of bowel and bladder program.
• Assists in instruction to Restorative Aides and unit staff in restorative programs and techniques.
• Maintains appropriate records
• Cares for equipment and makes recommendations for specialized equipment to improve ADLs, maintain skin integrity, and monitors same.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative data for QAPI meetings.
• Develop and deliver audits related to restorative outcomes.
• Performs related work as required, as a licensed professional nurse.

Acceptable Training & Education:

• Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA DOH LPN License
• Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience in an institutional setting. Or any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience which has provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities cited above.
• Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
