IMMEDIATELY HIRING!

CURRENTLY HIRING for GENERAL ASSEMBLER WORKERS for a FULL TIME opportunity located in the Souderton, PA area. The General Assembler will be responsible for building wall panels and roof truss, performing general labor work including 50lbs and using a framing hammer. Some qualifications for this role are prior assembly experience, working in the construction or landscaping field, having a general mechanical aptitude, and being able to follow direction. Responsibilities

• Work off of blueprints and drawings to set up large assembly tables for production.
• Lay out lumber products such as 2X4's, 2X6's, and 2X8's in specified areas to assemble wall panels and roof trusses.
• Place Steel Connectors or Gussets on all seams of the trusses to ensure joints are secured properly.
• Use a framing hammer to attach plates to the framed panels.
• Send assembled finished products to the Yard Department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Read and interpret tape measures accurately.
• Perform various general production tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Experience using a hammer.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• General labor experience in construction, framing, or general contracting.
• Mechanically inclined skills.
• Minimum of 6 months of construction experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
