Responsibilities
- Deliver PTA services under supervision as part of the rehabilitation team for geriatric residents
- Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and modalities as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress, document interventions, and update care notes and records
- Assist the supervising physical therapist with assessments, data collection, and plan-of-care updates
- Ensure patient safety, proper infection control, and correct use of equipment during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to support goals, discharge planning, and overall patient care

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting with an older adult population
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, documentation accuracy, and ethical care
