Host / Reservationist
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
- Follow direction from managers and supervisors promptly and respectfully
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff and guests
- Support team-oriented service rather than individual preferences or conflicts
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and preparedness for every shift
- Maintain composure during high-volume or high-pressure service periods
- Avoid disruptive behavior, gossip, confrontational conduct, or unprofessional communication on the floor
- Adhere to all scheduling, seating rotation, reservation, and guest service procedures established by management
- Greet and seat guests according to restaurant standards and floor rotation
- Manage reservations, wait lists, and guest flow accurately
- Provide realistic and professional wait-time communication
- Coordinate with management and service staff regarding pacing and table availability
- Answer phones and assist guests courteously and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, lobby, and host stand
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
- 2+ years hosting in full-service or fine dining
- Composure under pressure, strong communication
- Weekend and evening availability required
