Business Systems Analyst Senior (Banking Compliance)

Role Overview
The Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be the architectural bridge between our high-level finance product visions and technical execution. Your mission is to plan and coordinate technology releases and changes across the enterprise for multiple applications and various portfolio streams. You will navigate complex banking compliance landscapes and workflows and ensure our digital transformation is as secure as it is innovative.
Key Responsibilities
• Product Stewardship & Compliance: Deeply understand the retail banking and finance background required to align technical solutions with strict banking compliance standards.
• Process Architecture: Master Process Diagramming and the mapping of complex Business Flows to ensure seamless, compliant customer journeys.
• Agile Storytelling: Author high-quality User Stories with clear acceptance criteria, translating business needs into the "language of developers."
• Digital Design Collaboration: Utilize Figma to review and provide feedback on UI/UX designs, ensuring digital experiences meet both user needs and functional requirements.
• API Insight: Leverage Swagger experience to understand system integrations and communicate effectively with backend developers regarding data exchange.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the "universal translator" between business users, technical developers, and our offshore development partners to ensure clarity and delivery velocity
Required Qualifications/ Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Banking Experience 5+ years in Banking Compliance and Finance; must understand the regulatory landscape of digital finance.
• Heavy digital experience with a strong willingness to learn new tools and emerging technologies.
• Exceptional ability to talk to developers and business users alike, simplifying complex concepts for all parties.
• Proficient in Figma (design) and Swagger (API documentation); expert in Process Diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).
• No SQL required; focus is instead on business logic, data mapping, and workflow automation.
• Proven track record of managing requirements for offshore/onshore models.
• 5+ years of experience as a BSA or System Analyst in a large-scale enterprise environment.
