Step into an impactful role supporting students and staff by providing expert behavioral services across a dynamic school district for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to build lasting collaborations, share clinical insight, and make a difference across general and special education settings.

As the district’s inaugural Board Certified Behavior Analyst, your expertise will shape how behavioral supports are delivered. You’ll work on-site at three closely connected school locations, offering ongoing direct services, conducting observations—including within emotional support classrooms—and designing intervention strategies. Your efforts help create positive learning environments and reinforce school-wide student success.

Ideal candidates are passionate about supporting both general and special education, excel in data-driven environments, and have the confidence to consult with multidisciplinary teams. Strong experience with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), behavior intervention plan development, and IEP participation is highly valued.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid BCBA certification required
• Previous school-based BCBA experience preferred
• Demonstrated skill in conducting FBAs and designing behavior intervention plans
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, psychologists, and support staff
• Strong observation, analytical, and data collection skills
• Availability for the full 2026–2027 school year, on-site only
• Sample of a redacted FBA and professional references required for consideration

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavioral services to students in general and special education
• Conduct district-wide student observations and assessments
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate on intervention planning
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support strategies
• Serve as a behavioral resource and coach for staff at all district sites
