Experienced EMT – Sports Medicine Event Coverage

ATvantage Sports Medicine is seeking experienced EMTs to provide sideline medical coverage for youth and competitive sporting events at Spooky Nook Sports in Manheim, PA.

This role requires EMTs who are comfortable operating independently when needed , while most often working alongside Athletic Trainers and other healthcare providers in a collaborative sports medicine environment.

This role is a strong fit if you:

• Have 3+ years of EMT experience and can practice autonomously when required

• Are seeking 4–15 hours/week , primarily Friday–Sunday , with occasional weekday/evening needs

• Value patient-centered emergency care in athletic settings

• Enjoy both team-based care and moments of independent clinical decision-making

• Want flexible, event-based work without sacrificing clinical standards

Responsibilities:

• Provide sideline medical coverage within EMT scope of practice

• Operate independently during select situations and collaboratively with other HCPs during larger events

• Respond to emergent situations , including cardiac events and traumatic injuries

• Recognize and assist with management of concussions, heat illness, and acute medical conditions per state guidelines

• Assess and treat minor wounds, soft tissue, and musculoskeletal injuries

• Communicate clearly with patients, families, coaches, and event staff

• Complete accurate and timely medical documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Active EMT Certification & Pennsylvania State License

• Minimum 3 years EMT experience (required)

• Current CPR/AED & First Aid

• Valid Driver's License

• Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and situational awareness

• Physical ability to assist with patient movement and emergency response

Position Details:

• Job Type: Part-time / PRN / Temporary / Seasonal

• Location: In-person, Manheim, PA

• Pay: $24–$30/hour (based on experience)

• Schedule: Day, evening, and on-call shifts (primarily weekends)

• Expected Hours: 4–15 per week

Note: Providers must be comfortable making sound clinical decisions independently when situations arise, while regularly working as part of a coordinated sports medicine team. This is not an entry-level EMT role .
