As a Driver at River Rock Academy, you will provide safe and reliable transportation for students while maintaining a respectful, supportive environment during transit. You’ll play a key role in ensuring students arrive safely and on time while upholding safety, professionalism, and compliance standards.
What You’ll Need
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
High School Diploma or GED
Clean driving record
Experience working with special education adolescents preferred
Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and commitment to safety
Ability to remain calm and professional while supporting student behavior during transport
What You’ll Do
Transport students safely and promptly to and from the program
Maintain vehicle condition and report maintenance concerns as needed
Refuel vehicles using the assigned gas card and accurately complete required vehicle log documentation
Ensure students behave appropriately during transit and follow transportation safety procedures
Follow all traffic laws and school safety protocols at all times
