The Ferris Moving Company is looking for a motivated, hands-on Co-Owner to join our leadership team. This is a ground-floor opportunity to invest, work alongside ownership, and help expand a fast-developing moving company.

Position: Co-Owner (Independent Contractor)

Location: Local service area (must have reliable transportation)

Buy-In: Required — based on percentage of ownership received

Payouts: Profit-based percentage payouts begin after 1 full year of active employment

Compensation:

$30.00/hour for on-site work (attending and performing moves)
$15.00/hour for non–on-site work (calls, scheduling, booking, emails, etc.)
Profit-based percentage payouts begin after 1 year of active employment , based on performance and participation

Responsibilities Include:

• Attending and performing moving jobs as needed
• Assisting with daily operations and crew management
• Handling client calls, emails, and text messages promptly
• Booking and scheduling jobs efficiently
• Helping grow the company through professionalism, reliability, and teamwork
• Overseeing quality of service, scheduling, and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

✅ Reliable transportation (must be able to travel to and from job sites)
✅ Computer or laptop (for scheduling, estimates, and communications)
✅ Working cell phone (must answer calls, texts, and emails regularly)
✅ Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
✅ Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork
✅ Must buy in to the company for an agreed-upon ownership percentage

Compensation & Ownership:

This is an Independent Contractor / Ownership Role.
Ownership equity will be granted based on your buy-in amount. Profit-based percentage payouts will begin after one full year of active employment, dependent on company profitability and participation level.
