About CAL Sports Academy

CAL Sports Academy provides structured youth volleyball training focused on skill development, confidence, teamwork, and leadership. We serve athletes ages 9–18 in a positive and encouraging environment that emphasizes growth on and off the court.

We are currently hiring Volleyball Class Coaches to lead weekday classes and support weekend league play.

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated volleyball coaches to deliver engaging, fundamentals-based instruction during weekday classes and assist with volleyball leagues on Saturdays. Coaches play a crucial role in helping athletes develop technically, mentally, and with confidence.

This role is well suited for former players, coaches, educators, or individuals passionate about teaching and mentoring young athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead structured volleyball classes for youth ages 9–18
• Teach fundamentals including serving, passing, setting, hitting, footwork, and court positioning
• Follow CAL curriculum and structured lesson plans
• Create a positive, inclusive, and organized learning environment
• Assist with Saturday volleyball leagues as needed
• Set up and break down nets and equipment
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff
• Represent CAL Sports Academy with professionalism and enthusiasm

Schedule & Commitment:

• Weekdays: Monday–Friday, typically 4:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Saturdays: Volleyball leagues, generally 9:00 AM–3:00 PM (schedule varies based on teams and enrollment)
• Consistent weekly schedule available
• Year-round opportunities

Qualifications:

• Volleyball playing or coaching experience preferred
• Experience working with children strongly preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to obtain PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances
