Manager, Software Engineering - Streaming

The Manager of Software Development – Streaming supports QVC and HSN, and leads our engineering team in building and optimizing next-generation streaming application and solutions. You'll drive the evolution of our streaming platforms, ensuring seamless, high-quality experiences for millions of customers. You will report to our Director, Software Engineering.

Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at West Chester, PA-- Studio Park six days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable streaming solutions
• Champion the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices in streaming application development and video technologies while inspiring a product mindset to deliver capabilities with our customer at the forefront of all your decisions
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including Product, UX, and Operations—to align technical solutions with our goals and customer needs

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role
• Expertise in streaming application development includes experience with Roku, Samsung TVs, LG, Comcast, and others.
  • This expertise also encompasses video technologies, such as HLS, DASH, CDN integration, Video players, and event understanding. Additionally, it includes cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Passion for innovation, customer-centricity, and continuous learning
