What You'll Do:
With the ongoing expansion of our business, we need a strong Senior Technical Program Manager to deliver network and data center capacity builds to support the growth of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This is a high- impact role that will lead, oversee, and ensure the successful management and delivery of critical initiatives on our strategic roadmap. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across Engineering and Operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to own the delivery of network and data center capacity across concurrent builds.
This role will oversee Build-focused projects and initiatives. LVs, or Low Voltage Providers, are critical vendors in our effort to build scalable facilities in which we house our data centers. Managing these construction projects well is key to the overall success of customer deliveries. You will engage directly with our Colo partners' leadership and project management teams, making sure projects run efficiently to meet our customers' needs. You will also engage with internal teams to make sure we deliver the proper design and process documentation to the Colo, execute on our ISP circuit contracts, and update all internal tracking tools for handover to our operations teams at the end of the project.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day you can expect the following:

Being the End-to-end leader in charge of the program, from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery.

Influencing, activating, and orchestrating across teams to build alignment and drive results.

Providing program and project management expertise to complex initiatives, understanding interdependencies between process, technology, and people needs.

Identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and ensure that project goals are in- line with customer and business objectives.

Seeking opportunities to bring about ongoing improvement and simplification in processes leading to improved efficiency and effectiveness.

Tracking and managing priorities and committed actions to drive progress and provide actionable insights.

Managing relationships with vendors and growing our existing vendor pool to become more competitive in resourcing and pricing

Managing expectations with Oracle leadership through complex and fast-paced projects

Traveling up to 25% in support of data center builds
What You'll Bring:
-
5+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
-
Experience with varying scenarios of data center construction, infrastructure builds and network augmentations.

Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e., network, data center construction, hardware, mechanical and electrical systems)

Program/project management certifications or qualifications with proven ability to deliver complex programs.

Proven ability to create effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and across global teams.

Ability to inspire confidence in senior leaders and motivate team members.

Excellent communication skills including high quality written communications and the ability to articulate complex information in a simple way.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
