Senior associate - corporate development
Job Description
DUTIES:
Support complex transaction execution through application of strategic, financial, negotiation, and project management skills, leading cross-functional teams of internal and external constituents to develop and complete transactions. Work on business case development, including identifying and interfacing with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders, often including organizational senior leadership. Participate in post-transaction partner relationships to ensure proper execution of, and accountability for, committed deliverables. Evaluate new business opportunities for General Motors. Research industry and value chain dynamics and landscapes. Anticipate issues, evaluate potential solutions, and distill complex problems efficiently. Leverage sharp financial acumen and computer skills to perform fundamental financial modelling and analysis with ability to convey messaging clearly and concisely to various audiences. Work with multiple, competing priorities, often within tight timing expectation. Effectively delegate and influence the work of others, with focus on coaching and development towards success. Fully remote.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience in a related occupation. Three (3) years of experience with the following: Financial modeling including building forecasts, sensitivity analysis, and identifying growth levers and risks using Microsoft Excel and Capital IQ; Business case development including business drivers, areas of growth and risk, and aligning corporate strategy to business execution; Project management; Negotiating M&A and commercial arrangements against sophisticated third parties; Performing data analysis using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, SPGloabl, HIS Markit; and Contract structuring including optimizing deal outcomes, potential acquisitions, minority investments, and business partnership.
Compensation:

The expected base compensation for this role is $136,102.50 to $136,102.50 Annually.

Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
