Direct Care Worker
Eminence Home Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to join our team. In this essential role, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and well-being. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and helping clients maintain their independence. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure that clients receive proper nutrition.
- Provide medication reminders and documentation of medication administration.
- Engage clients in social activities and offer emotional support.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Work closely with families to provide the best care possible
Requirements
- Experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and a strong commitment to helping others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
