Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finish Grade Dozer Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for performing precise grading operations on sitework projects, including basin grading and roadway subbase preparation. The ideal candidate has strong GPS machine control experience and can consistently produce accurate, high-quality finished grades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dozers equipped with GPS machine control systems
• Perform fine grading for stormwater basins and roadway subbase
• Read and interpret site plans, grading plans, and digital models
• Ensure grades, slopes, and elevations meet project specifications
• Work closely with surveyors, foremen, and site supervisors
• Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
• Assist with other sitework tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a finish grade dozer operator
• Strong proficiency with GPS machine control systems (Topcon, Trimble, or similar)
• Ability to fine grade with precision and minimal supervision
• Experience grading basins and roadway subbase is required
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and elevations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus)

Work Conditions:

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Physically demanding environment with long hours on equipment
• May require early mornings, overtime, or weekend work
