JOB SUMMARY/ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fulfilling HIM health record requests and scanning appropriate documents
- Work within client’s EMR to review and organize charts for healthcare organizations
- Handle data entry and recovering patient charts
- HIM Department functional support in regards to Prep, Scan and QC tasks
- Adhere to strict productivity and quality guidelines set forth by e4health and/or Client
- Implement productivity tracking guidelines based upon Client needs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree from an AHIMA accredited health information technology program with an active RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) credential or related college degree
- Experience with performing release of medical record information functions
- Knowledge and understanding of hospital and medical complexity capture and coding, release of information, electronic health records, and Joint Commission Information Management accreditations.
- Experience in administering an electronic health records system such as Epic or comparable system.
- ONSITE role, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Sitting, talking, hearing and near vision are required over 90% of the time. Feeling is required over 90% of the time and reaching is required about 50% of the time. The ability to travel to field sites may be required up to 15% of the time.
WORKING CONDITIONS WHILE PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Over 90% of the time is spent indoors, with protection from weather conditions. Exposure to noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable is present in only unusual situations.
PAY RANGE
Pay range for this position is $20-22 an hour
