Municipal Design Engineer

Job description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Municipal Design Engineer to join a growing team in Easton, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about municipal projects, infrastructure rehabilitation, and contributing to the development of thriving communities.

What Youll Do:

• Take on design responsibilities across municipal projects including stormwater systems, detention basins, and infrastructure rehabilitation.
• Prepare and submit permit applications at state and local levels.
• Draft comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
• Review subdivision and utility plans submitted by developers for municipal approvals.
• Ensure development plans comply with local ordinances, zoning requirements, grading standards, stormwater regulations, and land development codes.
• Assist with construction administration, escrow accounts, and related municipal processes.

Qualifications:

What You Bring:

• Education : B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience : Minimum 2 years of professional experience in site civil or municipal design.
• Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for municipal-type projects.
• Credentials : Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred.
• Mindset : Detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated to contribute to impactful community projects.
