Avid Care is looking for a dedicated House Coordinator to join our team at one of our residential sites. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live safely, independently, and with dignity — while leading daily operations at the home.

Schedule:
40 hours/week

• Monday–Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide individualized, hands-on care and support daily living activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and normalized living environment (laundry, housekeeping, meal planning)
• Monitor and accurately report on individuals' behavior and physical condition
• Oversee staff documentation and ensure daily tasks are completed
• Contribute to Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
• Manage client appointments and assist with staff shift scheduling
• Track individuals' personal belongings and funds
• Identify risks and bring forward proactive solutions to leadership
• Communicate professionally with families, staff, and outside agencies

What You'll Need:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Ability to assist with lifting/transferring individuals of varying weights
• Valid PA driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a personal vehicle
• Willingness/ability to work day, night, and overnight shifts as needed
• Must be able to reliably commute to (or relocate to) Pittsburgh, PA 15239
