Office & Inventory Operations Assistant – Sieger’s Jewelers (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Sieger’s Jewelers is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Office & Inventory Operations Assistant to support daily business operations, inventory control, and administrative workflow. This role blends office coordination, accurate data entry, and merchandise management in a professional, fast‑paced retail environment.

Position Summary

The Office & Inventory Operations Assistant plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, entering product data, supporting repair and service workflows, and assisting with general office tasks. You’ll work closely with management to ensure smooth operations and a well‑organized back office.

Pay: $12–$16 per hour (based on experience) Hours: 20–25 hours per week (or full‑time if needed) Schedule Window: Between 9:30 AM and 5:15 PM , Monday–Saturday

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Product Management

  • Enter new jewelry, repairs, and second‑hand items into the system with accuracy
  • Maintain organized inventory records and update pricing as needed
  • Perform routine inventory checks and assist with discrepancy resolution
  • Track incoming/outgoing merchandise, memo goods, and vendor orders
  • Support repair intake documentation and status tracking

Data Entry & Administrative Support

  • Accurately enter and maintain customer, vendor, invoice, and product data
  • Update spreadsheets, reports, and internal databases
  • Organize digital and paper files while maintaining confidentiality
  • Assist with POS updates, product descriptions, and website data entry (if needed)

General Office Operations

  • Support day‑to‑day office tasks and workflow coordination
  • Maintain an organized workspace and office supply inventory
  • Assist management with special projects and operational needs
  • Provide occasional customer-facing support (phone calls, pickups, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Strong computer and typing skills
  • Experience with spreadsheets and data systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
  • Jewelry industry experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must be dependable, trustworthy, and comfortable handling sensitive information
