Shift: First shift, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

What a Day Looks Like

You kick off the morning huddle, align operators to the day’s priorities, and verify machines are set for high-volume runs. As parts start coming off the mills, you’re tracking performance, clearing bottlenecks, and stepping in to perform setups or programming edits when needed. You review blueprints, check first-article inspections, and ensure every component meets tolerance. Throughout the day, you coach operators, reinforce ISO and safety practices, and drive improvements that cut setup time and boost throughput—all while keeping the shop organized and production on schedule.

What You’ll Own

• Direct daily work for CNC milling operators and coordinate production activities
• Execute schedules and assign resources to meet high-volume machining goals
• Oversee setups, machine performance, and part flow status
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and eliminate production bottlenecks
• Perform CNC setups, make programming edits, and run machines as needed
• Interpret blueprints; verify parts meet tolerance requirements
• Conduct in-process and final checks using gauges and precision measuring tools
• Reduce setup time and continuously refine machining processes
• Uphold safety, quality, and ISO-compliant procedures
• Train operators; provide feedback and performance coaching
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient machine shop

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• 3+ years setting up CNC Mill/Turn or CNC Mill equipment
• Hands-on leadership experience training and managing shop employees
• Ability to read blueprints and perform first-piece inspections
• Experience editing G-code and applying tool offsets
• Comfort with FANUC, HAAS, or Mazak controls
• Strong troubleshooting, planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred

• Background in high-volume production machining
• Track record implementing process improvements and setup-time reduction
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and manufacturing best practices
