Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Processor to join our team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading raw materials such as spices, sugars, and seasonings into machines, operating these machines to ensure products are run for the correct duration, and performing quality checks on the finished products. The role also involves mixing finished products and maintaining the highest quality by preparing them according to established formulas and monitoring production needs.

Responsibilities

• Physically load raw materials into machines.
• Keep logs of materials fed into machines, both paper and electronic.
• Operate machines to ensure correct run time for products.
• Perform quality checks on products as they come out of the machines.
• Mix finished products and prepare them according to established formulas.
• Monitor production needs and perform deck set-up for the daily schedule.
• Operate equipment to aid in processing formulas.
• Use local control panel to control additions of ingredients and transfer batches.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience in food manufacturing, food processing, and machine operation.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
• Ability to perform quality control tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Related experience in food processing is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures in English.
• Possess math skills necessary to verify quantities of ingredients.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.81 - $22.81/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chambersburg,PA.
