Day Program Aides
Lifesteps is expanding services in Butler County and has an immediate need for multiple Program Aides in Butler, PA.

The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. POSITION SUMMARY:
Have fun while you work and bring joy into the lives of the Day Program participants! The Program Aide is responsible for assisting special needs adults with activities such as crafts, community outings and life skills.
The Program Aide observes and reports on the accomplishments of participants, while maintaining a safe and clean environment, and also transports participants in the community using an Agency vehicle for learning, engagement and fun activities.
This position works part-time with a schedule of 8:30am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday - with weekends off!
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
High School Diploma/GED Current driver's license with the ability to travel utilizing an Agency vehicle Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) - offered by Lifesteps First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months - offered by LifestepsPreferred:
One-year experience working with individuals in human services field Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE) Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) Associates or bachelor's degree in education, special education, sociology, social work, rehabilitation, counseling, therapy, transition programming, or any other major Knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteGREAT benefit package for full-time employment includes 100% agency paid medical, dental and vision insurance premiums; Paid vacation, sick time and personal/emergency time; short & long-term disability insurance; Tuition reimbursement; 403B Retirement Plan; Life Insurance and 12 paid holidays.
