Job Description

We are seeking a dependable Trayline Attendant to join our Food & Nutrition team and support patient meal service. This role is essential in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate care by ensuring patients receive the meals they need, exactly as ordered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble patient meal trays according to diet orders, allergies, and portion standards.
• Deliver and retrieve trays from patient units with accuracy and professionalism.
• Follow dietary guidelines including diabetic, cardiac, texture-modified, and allergy-specific diets.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary trayline and work area throughout the shift.
• Restock food items and supplies to keep the trayline running smoothly.
• Assist in the dishroom with washing, sorting, and organizing equipment.
• Provide excellent service to patients, nurses, and clinical staff.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
• Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
• Comfort with standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
