Associate Partner - Multiple Openings

Associate Partner positions available with McKinsey & Company, Inc. US in Philadelphia, PA.

Lead a team comprised of Engagement Managers, Associates, Business Analysts, Research Analysts, and others in support of discrete engagements. Direct the team to resolve complex business problems associated with the engagement. Provide senior-level consulting advisory services to client, including setting the overall strategic direction of the engagement and developing communication strategies. Analyze the client problem on a high-level and devise large scale strategy plans for analyzing the issue, and lead the team towards developing an execution strategy. Implement the approach and objectives (work plan) for the entire engagement/study. Execute solutions to complex problems facing clients in various sectors, ranging from operational issues to management issues. Set deadlines and direct team members with regard to workstream assignments and research projects, and review reports generated by team members. Support McKinsey Partners by leading problem-solving sessions with senior client executives and overseeing successful implementation of project goals. Synthesize the work completed by team members into a set of findings or recommendations and structure the overall final written and oral presentation to client. Develop recommendations for change with the client. Maintain on-going relationships with clients in an effort to continue to support them with their business needs. Coach team members, and provide feedback to Engagement Managers and Associates on their professional development. Telecommuting permitted.

Qualified applicants must have a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or non-business advanced degree & three years of experience, one of which must be at Engagement Manager level with a major top-tier international management consulting firm. Alternatively, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or non-business undergraduate degree & five years of experience, one of which must be at Engagement Manager level with a major top-tier international management consulting firm. Domestic and international travel typically required. Destination and frequency impossible to predict.
