SVP, Medical Device Testing
Eurofins Lancaster Labs seeks SVP, Medical Device Testing in Lancaster, PA.
Duties: Oversee operations in accordance with policies set forth in the Personnel Manual and Leader's Guide; lead through vision and values of the company; Ensure quality policy program is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization; identify, prevent, or correct any departures from the quality system; Drive recruiting initiatives to meet company needs; Provide strategic planning to support company vision; build strategic relationships within the organization to achieve company goals; Participate in Senior Leadership and Executive Group to support company initiatives and goals; lead business development and project management staff to meet organizational goals and manage P/L statements; Lead and supervise business development and project management operations management to ensure superlative service; Manage business development staff and oversee business opportunities; Manage and perform bidding, client negotiations, and contract renewals for operations; Interact with clients and prospects on on going basis; provide and oversee staff to ensure superlative client account management; Lead, coach, and develop business development and project management staff to maximize individual and team performance; Provide strategic leadership for organizational development and change initiatives; Maintain competence in field, attend seminars and training as needed; Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations; minimize company liability; provide company employment expertise to staff and clients. Up to 30% domestic and 3% international travel required.
Requirements: Position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Biology, Chemistry or related field plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must have 6 years of experience in all of the following: Medical device hardware components: Designing, assembling, and troubleshooting physical components such as sensors, processors, and enclosures to ensure optimal device functionality; Medical device software components: Developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software and user interfaces to drive device performance and enhance user experience; Medical device product installation: Performing on-site installation, configuration, and calibration of medical devices, ensuring they are ready for operational use; Medical device product maintenance: Providing preventive and corrective maintenance, repair, and performance monitoring to maintain device reliability and compliance.
