responsibilities:

Job Description:

• This position is for a Software Engineer to support the Precision Mining group within the client Robotics division. The individual hired for this position will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate and test software features on embedded electronic controls for use in Precision Mining application with hyperspectral analysis.
• Precision mining feature development in embedded C++, Linux, and GitHub
• Issue resolution through triage and troubleshooting
• Managing requirements and projects in an Agile Sprint environment
• Development of validation plans
• Coordinate with a global, culturally diverse team of machine, systems, software, and validation engineers
• Decomposition of system requirements
• Design, development, review, integration, and testing of embedded software features

qualifications:
Top 3 Skills:

Coding in C, C++, and Python

Strong software design analysis

Capable of expressing positions without confrontation

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.

2-3 years of experience in software engineering, preferably working with precision mining equipment

Will accept master's degree with 1-2 years of industry experience.

Git, debuggers, and compilers

C-test and G-test suites

System-level feature design and specification

Datalinks (CAN, Ethernet, etc.)

Concise writing style

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience in Robotics or autonomy

Strong communication skills
