A warm, respectful family in Philadelphia's prestigious Rittenhouse Square neighborhood is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to become an integral member of their household team. They are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully organized home, enjoys working independently, and values professionalism and consistency.

The family works with a Family Assistant and private chef, creating a collaborative household environment where everyone contributes to keeping the home running seamlessly. They are hoping to find someone who is interested in building a long-term relationship and growing with their family as they transition into a new home this winter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the kitchen each morning by ensuring dishes are put away and surfaces are clean before the chef arrives at 8:30 AM
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining room, living room, and powder room throughout the day
• Keep household items and children's belongings organized and returned to their designated places
• Empty trash daily, clean the kitchen sink, and load the dishwasher before leaving each day
• Manage laundry for two adults and one teenager, including washing, folding, hanging, organizing, steaming, and putting away the principals' clothing
• Change bed linens weekly throughout the home
• Perform detailed weekly cleaning of all living spaces and bathrooms
• Break down boxes for recycling and ensure trash and recycling are taken out on schedule
• Complete bi-weekly deep cleaning of the home, including the refrigerator and pantry
• Assist with putting away grocery deliveries and maintaining an organized refrigerator
• Monitor household cleaning and paper supplies, communicating replenishment needs to the Family Assistant
• Handle occasional dry-cleaning drop-offs and pick-ups as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience as a professional housekeeper in a private home
