The Landscape Production Manager will be responsible for division landscape crews meeting Paragon quality standards through utilization of Paragon systems on all projects while maintaining maximum efficiency and following Paragon safety practices and protocols. The Production manager is also responsible for training all crews on policy and systems, as well as overseeing the overall production of the division crews.

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with account manager on new work proposals and renewal contracts
• Collaborate with operations coordinator and operations manager daily on job scheduling, purchasing, equipment needs, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with account manager, operations coordinator, and operations manager on job costing report review and any production problem solving necessary
• Trouble shoot and solve problems and concerns on the job sites, both from external clients and associates
• Communicate with clients to ensure their expectations are being met or exceeded
• Train all division crew members on Paragon production systems, equipment and safety protocols and procedures
• Ensure compliance of company policies, procedures, quality standards and safety protocols
• Review daily work schedules and workorders with assigned crew leaders to ensure a complete and clear understanding of the daily job requirements and resources needed
• Ensure work orders and daily action are executed efficiently and safely
• Perform timely follow up of job site inspections to ensure Paragon quality standards are kept
• Lead weekly tailgate talks with crew leaders and crews
• Review all paperwork including time sheets, work orders, time-off requests, injury reports, personnel action memos, and corrective actions for accuracy and completeness
• Perform hands on activities as needed
• Ensure proper daily maintenance, storage and organization of company equipment and trucks
• Assist with completion of performance review forms and growth plans for crew leaders and crew members

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• HS Diploma
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not necessary

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years field experience or associate or bachelor’s degree in a horticulture related field
• Knowledge of equipment and plant materials used in the landscape industry.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work requires intermittent physical activity including standing, reaching and of sitting. Work requires the ability to lift 50 lbs. on occasion. Physical requirements also include lifting, bending, walking, and carrying. This position works outdoors in various whether conditions. The noise level at the job site may be loud due to equipment operation. Work requires driving a company vehicle to various job locations. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to client needs and deadlines.
