Elwood Staffing is hiring an Extrusion Machine Operator for a manufacturer in the Lancaster area.

Extrusion Machine Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $24.52 to $26.97 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available

• 12-hours work days (6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM)
• Days: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off
• Maintain operation of multiple line, including loading gaskets and packaging end product
• Program Extrusion machine
• Operate production equipment and control dimensions to maintain specifications
• Inspect, measure, and record dimensions using various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Cut and band scrap to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Extrusion Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Knowledge of calipers and micrometers and the ability to add/subtract 2 and 3 digit numbers
• Ability to effectively communicate with management and employees at all levels
• Previous machine operating experience, extrusion operating is a plus
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
