Project Security Design Engineer

Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and security systems expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a critical role in shaping wayside security systems that provide real-time and contextual information to enhance transport safety and efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Engineering, Verification & Validation, and Deployment teams), supervise system deliveries, and contribute to design reviews and risk assessments, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:
Providing design specification and validation monitoring solutions until customer acceptance, minimizing by design the system deployment costs, lead time, and risks. ,
Checking that external interfaces are consistent with the subsystem. ,
Supervising and participating in system deliveries, including requirements management, architecture definition, interfaces definition, detailed design, and system performance. ,
Participating in Design Reviews. ,
Contributing to the definition of the functional validation phase of the subsystem (FIVP). ,
Ensuring that all domain/métier activities follow Quality processes. ,
Supporting the Project Engineering Manager to ensure full transparency of Project Engineering performance, including physical progress. ,
Following and participating in Risk and Savings Reviews for your scope. ,
Providing inputs to the Project Engineering Manager to update the Risk and Savings Assessment Management Plans (RAMP and SAMP) of the project. ,
Working transversally with engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication."

Experience or understanding of security systems. ,
Knowledge of network and telecom solutions. ,

Familiarity with cybersecurity standards. ,
Ability to work transversally with engineering teams. ,
Experience in requirement management. ,
Understanding of the Change Request Process. ,
Skills in system architecture design and interface definition. ,
Knowledge of risk and savings review processes.
