Job Title: Logistics Dispatcher

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Work Location: On-site – Chester County, PA

A rapidly growing logistics and warehousing company specializing in refrigerated transportation is seeking experienced Dispatchers to join their outbound operations team in Toughkenamon, PA. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are passionate about ensuring timely deliveries and smooth operations.

Available Schedules:

• Position 1: Sunday–Tuesday 12AM–12PM, Wednesday 12AM–6PM
• Position 2: Wednesday 6PM–12AM, Thursday–Saturday 12PM–12AM

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and dispatch outbound trucks, including both company and third-party carriers, for daily deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse personnel, yard jockeys, sales teams, and internal/external customers to ensure schedules are met and provide real-time updates.
• Track shipments, monitor driver status, and resolve routing, timing, or unexpected issues (e.g., late trucks, closed docks, overweight loads, accidents, or equipment breakdowns).
• Update dispatch logs and systems accurately in real time.
• Report issues to relevant teams and confer with customers/sales personnel on questions, problems, requests for drivers, equipment, pickups, or deliveries.
• Assist drivers with unexpected situations and support overall warehouse, logistics, transportation activities (including customer management, backhauls, and fleet management).
• Work with shipping personnel to ensure trailers are loaded on time.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in transportation dispatching, logistics, or related field (2+ years preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written English), excellent phone etiquette, and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize multiple requests, independently resolve problems, and work under minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, organized, and comfortable with technology and dispatch systems.
• Desire to support and help drivers succeed.
