SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under minimal supervision, you'll work alongside IT professionals to provide IT services to mid-sized business operating under both Government and Commercial contracts. We are seeking a Part-Time Service Desk IT Technician to join our team! You will receive and resolve IT-related issues for clients as well as provide general support to our technical infrastructure and compliance. Part-Time consist of working a 20 – 29 hours workweek.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Resolve service desk tickets

· Communicate with clients (via phone, email, chat, and corporate SMS)

· Maintain service levels on assigned tickets

· Strong focus on Microsoft 365

· Creating and updating company standard operating procedures for common tasks

· Exceed client service expectations

· Prepare new, updated equipment

· Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent

All applicants must be a US Citizen

Skills/Competencies:

· Career-oriented self-starter

· Strong communication skills– positive/professional demeanor

· Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

· Intermediate knowledge of computer + server hardware helpful

· ITIL Certification helpful but not required

· Certifications such as A+, Net+, Security+, etc. helpful

· Minimum 3-years experience in IT fields

· Understanding of basic principles of IT networking

· Experience with Microsoft 365 Remote desktop, file restore, and cabling

· Technical knowledge of Microsoft products including: Microsoft Windows both desktop and server, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft 365, and basic Microsoft Active Directory knowledge (add/remove user + basic knowledge of Group Policy Object (GPO)

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
