The Shared Solutions team supports design, production, data collection/analytics, technology, and process improvement work across Corporate Communications. This division includes Associate Communications, External Communications, and Provider Communications. This position reports to the Director, Provider Communications & Shared Solutions.
In addition to demonstrating strong digital communications and organizational skills, the candidate must be familiar with new technologies, collecting/analyzing data, and managing digital production – from posting and tracking jobs in SharePoint, working with email and CRM platforms, handling production design to post articles on our news site, and identifying analytical trends captured through external and internal methodologies. Experience in process improvement work is helpful.
Key responsibilities include:
· Experience in digital communications; writing and design experience is preferred
· Collect and analyze data from a variety of sources to monitor trends and track the behavior of internal and external audiences; this analysis informs our tactics and priorities.
· Monitor and manage data collection, consulting with team members to provide insights and analysis that drive results on specific projects.
· Work to translate data information into a story that showcases ROI and/or informs our communication choices.
· Comfortable using and/or exploring new technologies, serving as a key coordinator between writers/content and technology/production teams.
· Work with writers and editors on edits or final copy requiring design and production for external audiences, working in consultation with our Provider Communications and External Communications colleagues (posting articles, formatting and sending emails, producing newsletters, managing online surveys, etc.).
· Provide consultation and production design support for internal SharePoint newsletters, web copy, articles, and other materials, working collaboratively with our Associate Communications colleagues.
· Work closely and collaboratively with associates within the division and across the company.
· Consult and participate in process improvement initiatives, including serving as a key resource and member of the division’s WorkWell process improvement workgroup.
· Work in partnership with associates across our division on Shared Solutions projects, often serving as the consultant or lead on specific jobs.
· Experience or an interest in setting up and/or analyzing survey data is helpful.
· Meet deadlines and track progress while ensuring transparency and accountability for all jobs.
· Develop reports, schedules, and plans as needed.
· Help organize and participate in weekly production, ad hoc, client, and team meetings.
· Meet routinely with team leaders to share/present work for brainstorming and feedback.
Qualifications:
· Excellent communications and design production skills, with the ability to convey complicated or technical information in a clear, concise voice. Furnish samples upon request.
· Willingness to engage with and utilize the company’s GenAI resources to improve writing and technology processes
· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and related communications applications is required.
· Familiarity and/or experience with digital, social, mobile, and visual communications platforms, including Microsoft applications such as SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Teams, Power BI, and other applications.
· Familiarity or experience with creative tools like Adobe Creative Cloud.
· Familiarity or experience with HTML coding.
· Comfortable learning/using current, new, and emerging technologies, especially for data analytics.
· BA/BS in Digital Media, Communications, or related field, or with equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training.
· Ability to work independently on projects, identify and implement business solutions under the supervision and training of team leaders.
Soft skills:
· Ability to work quickly in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment.
· Ability to multitask and juggle a variety of jobs/projects simultaneously.
· Demonstrated ability to work well with others, both team members and clients.
· Be willing to ask questions and/or reach out for help or guidance.
· Possess an innovative and creative mindset, willing to think critically and offer a fresh perspective.
· Ability to listen deeply and interact smoothly with others, bringing a collaborative, partnership-style to interactions. (The collaborative nature of our teamwork is not well-suited for those who prefer working alone.)
· Interest in understanding our business and caring about our various internal and external audiences.
· Have a passion for getting it right, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
