Sign-on bonus for credentialed technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting doctors in the rooms for exams

• Vaccine preparation

• Restraint for lab work and treatments

• Performing treatments for outpatient appointments

• Triaging emergency cases

• Assisting technicians

• Expressing anal glands and performing nail trims

• Venipuncture for blood work

• Processing samples to send out lab work

• Operating in house lab equipment

• Setting up and performing radiographs

• Operate Practice Management software including input of charges and medical record keeping

• Client communication and basic GP education

• Stocking and cleaning exam rooms and hospital

• Knowledge of common medications and filling medications

• Administering subcutaneous fluids and injections

• Familiar with administering intramuscular injections and intravenous injections and placing intravenous catheter.

• Setting up IV fluid pumps

• Aid in recovery procedures for post surgical/anesthetized patients.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience, CVT Preferred

• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
