Job Summary : This position is responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and coordinating finishing line and boosting workers to ensure production, safety and quality expectations are being met. The leaders in this role will rotate areas of responsibility throughout the year determined by management.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepares the work area and assigns employees to workstations with the Supervisors direction.
• Preps the line by pulling appropriate components.
• Gives direction to the finishing line /boosting employees.
• Leads workers in focusing on efficiency and preventing scrap.
• Performs quality checks on the line.
• Performs on the job repairs to product components when necessary.
• Responsible for training the finishing line / boosting employees on job responsibilities and ensuring the necessary training, such as specific EHS training, is completed prior to performing the tasks.
• Notifies Finishing /Warehouse Supervisor promptly of any finishing line / boosting issues that they cannot resolve.
• Performs minor preventative maintenance work when necessary.
• Keeps department clean and organized.
• Keeps equipment operational by following machine instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions when possible and calling for repairs when necessary.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Responsible for posting production and scrap for their shift.
• Reports any employee relations issues to the Finishing /Warehouse Supervisor.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Leads the Boosting team regarding manning and the schedule for the day.
• Other reporting and duties as assigned.
• Trained in ArcFlash and applicable Powered Industrial Vehicles

• Ability to communicate and provide direction to team members
• Must be familiar with all operations within the Distribution Center.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Familiarity with use of hand tools
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• Must be quality conscious, organized and detail oriented.
• Must be consistently at work and on time.
• Must be able to work overtime on short notice.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must follow the environmental program and all safety rules.
• Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow.
• Accountability for performance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED

Essential Physical Functions:

• Must be capable of lifting 50#.
• Must be able to stand and walk constantly during the shift
• Ability to work at elevated heights
