Pay Rate : $20/hour
Schedule : 1st Shift – 7am to 3pmWhy you should apply to be Material Handler:

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:
  • Handling, transporting, and storing inks, adhesives, chemicals, and related materials safely and efficiently.
  • Performing color pulls for press approvals, minimizing waste, and supporting press operations.
  • Receiving, unloading, staging, and moving materials to appropriate stock locations.
  • Mixing, weighing, and delivering adhesives and inks to presses as needed.
  • Color discrimination and color matching skills
  • Preparing and loading hazardous waste shipments in accordance with regulations.
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards in ink and solvent areas.
  • Completing cycle counts and inventory records.
  • Cross training in other departments to support production needs.
  • Training new team members and supporting ongoing staff development.
  • Following all standard work procedures, safety guidelines, and plant policies.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
  • Have prior experience in ink handling, printing, or manufacturing (preferred, but not required).
  • Possess a strong work ethic and can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Have basic computer skills for inventory and documentation.
  • Hold a forklift certification or are willing to obtain one.
  • Are able to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Can stand, sit, bend, stoop, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs; ability to leverage up to 400 lbs with hand trucks.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
