The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on an Associate, WFM Scheduling & Real-Time to support the Group Protection business.

Background Details
The WFM Scheduling & Real-Time Associate will perform real-time monitoring and execution of the intraday plan to ensure optimal service delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced contact center environment. This role is foundational within the Workforce Management team, serving as a key role in day-of operations partnering with frontline leadership.

What you'll be doing

  • Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Monitors real-time performance metrics (e.g., service levels, schedule adherence, etc.) and proactively identifies variances to plan.
  • Executes intraday adjustments to optimize staffing, including break/lunch rescheduling, overtime solicitation, same-day PTO, and skill reassignments.
  • Communicates regularly with operations to provide updates on performance risks, mitigation approaches, and schedule adjustments.
  • Tracks and documents deviations in volume, staffing, or system performance, escalating as appropriate to ensure service recovery.
  • Generates and maintains intraday and post-day performance summaries.
  • Supports adherence and compliance tracking, collaborating with frontline supervisors to improve call center agent accountability.
  • Participates in post-day reviews and contributes insights for continuous improvement of intraday processes.
  • Builds foundational knowledge of WFM tools (Verint, Five9, etc.) and contact center KPIs.

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required
  • 0 - 1+ Years of experience in a contact center and/or workforce management environment directly aligned to the specific duties of this role, including experience with contact center WFM and telephony systems. (Required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate large data sets into actionable insights

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with contact center WFM and telephony systems, preferably Verint WFM and Five9

The pay range for this position is $42,800 - $77,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
