Jefferson Wells is looking to network with Accounting Professionals who are available for contract/consulting jobs. Most of these projects are remote, some hybrid and local to the metro Philadelphia market. W2 hourly based on experience and client requirements: $50 – $85 hr Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Organize and update financial records as needed.
- Analyze transactions and prepare reports.
- Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
- Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins.
- Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Participate in budgeting processes.
- Brief senior managers regularly on the company’s financial status.
- Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns.
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems (SAP and NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge (experience with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
