Warehouse Logistics Material Specialist

Step into the flow of a modern metals warehouse

Picture your workday starting at 2:00 PM inside O’Neal Steel’s Pittsburgh service center. You’ll move steel and aluminum with precision—loading inbound and outbound trucks and railcars, staging orders, and keeping material organized throughout the facility. You’ll rely on clear instructions, established processes, and proven safety practices to get quality work out the door for internal teams and external customers.

What you’ll do

• Load and unload material safely to and from trailers and trains.
• Transport inventory within the warehouse using forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, hand trucks, and other gear.
• Follow work orders and pre-set guidelines; this role emphasizes consistency and adherence to procedure rather than independent judgment.
• Measure accurately with a tape measure; verify specifications before movement or staging.
• Deliver dependable, high-quality service to both internal partners and external customers.

Tools and equipment you’ll use

• Material handling: forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, and related equipment.
• Hand tools: grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, and more.

Schedule

Must be able to work 2nd Shift (2:00PM - 10:00PM) Monday - Friday. Overtime will be required as needed.
