ELA Interventionist

Our client is seeking Certified ELA Interventionists in Philadelphia Metro area, PA.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Pennsylvania Teacher Certification.
• Reading Specialist Certification is strongly recommended.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:

• Provides and delivers focused reading intervention instruction to students in small groups and one-on-one settings through push-in and pullout for the purpose of improving student outcomes and achievement.
• Demonstrate the ability to participate in a collaborative learning environment as well as participate in professional growth activities.
• Build positive relationships with students and families in an urban education environment.
• Coordinate knowledge of content, of students, and of resources to design a series of learning experiences aligned to instructional outcomes and suitability to groups of students.
• Cultivate a learning environment that promotes cultural relevance, diversity of thinking, diversity of learning, and respect for all people (students and adults).
• Create a safe learning environment that is able to establish clear and high expectations for learning.
• Ensure instructional decisions are based on analysis of student-level data.
