Freight Coordinator

We are seeking a Freight Services Coordinator to join the team in Boyertown, Pennsylvania! The Freight Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all required elements and details of successful residential freight and merchandise deliveries and pickups. This position serves as a liaison between freight and merchandise vendor customers, Drivers, and residential clients to ensure timely and efficient deliveries and pickups to and from customer residential locations.

Essential Job Duties

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource to customers and clients with residential pickup and delivery inquiries
• Field incoming calls from customers, clients, Drivers, and other stakeholders
• Schedule freight and/or merchandise pickup and delivery appointments
• Assist with rescheduling missed appointments
• Perform data entry to record all transactions
• Process Driver and carrier changes
• Perform shipment tracking and tracing
• Determine whether shipment must be considered lost

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Top-notch organizational and time management skills
• Ability to quickly pivot from one task to another and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Trucking/logistics industry experience
