Site Supervisor - Commercial Construction
We are hiring an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects. We need someone who can lead the jobsite, coordinate trades, maintain quality, and keep projects moving on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise employees and subcontractors on site
- Conduct morning safety meetings and assign daily work
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and inspections
- Review drawings, scopes, and project requirements
- Maintain a 2-week lookahead schedule
- Take daily progress, quality, and safety photos
- Monitor workmanship and correct issues before they become rework
- Ensure materials are on site before work is scheduled
- Maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant jobsite
- Provide daily progress reports and communicate delays/issues to the Project Manager
- Plan and prepare for the following day's work
Qualifications: Commercial construction supervisory experience required. Must be dependable, organized, comfortable managing multiple trades, able to read construction drawings, and have strong communication and leadership skills.
This is a hands-on leadership position, but the Site Supervisor's primary responsibility is running the jobsite—not serving as a full-time tradesperson.
