Engineer High Performance Control Room Solutions
- Take ownership of the engineering design, project management, testing and commissioning of High Performance Control Room (HPCR) solutions to deliver comprehensive, high-quality outcomes for our customers.
- Develop high-performance operator graphics that align with industry standards (EEMUA and ANSI) and enhance operator effectiveness.
- Design and deliver sophisticated alarm displays tailored to customer needs, ensuring clarity and usability.
- Conduct alarm performance reviews using data interrogation and statistical analysis to identify trends and mitigate recurring issues.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, facilitating consultative workshops with operations staff to drive adoption and buy in of HPCR solutions.
- Support integration, testing and deployment of HPCR solutions within control system environments.
- Balance customer deliverables and internal schedules effectively to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to foster long-term collaboration and trust.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, technical field, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in process operations or other manufacturing
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% in North America
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Knowledge of plant control and/or alarm systems
- Proven experience in control room design, human-machine interface (HMI), or alarm management systems.
- Knowledge of industry graphic standards for operator displays, such as ANSI/ISA 18.2, ANSI/ISA 101.01, IEC 63303
- Prior experience with Emerson Ovation Distributed Control System (DCS)
