• Call Ratio: Approximately 1–2 weeks per month plus one weekend

• Callback Rate: Minimal (nights and weekends typically low)

• Ongoing coverage; 1–2 weeks per month with weekend coverage

• Patient Demographics: Adults

• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 17–18 patients per day

• Rounding: Included during weekend coverage

• Case Mix: General cardiology including outpatient clinic, procedures, and inpatient consults

• Office Equipment Available: Standard cardiology and diagnostic equipment

• Nuclear stress testing

• Echocardiography and monitoring

• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: PA license required or IMLC eligible

• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology

• DEA: Required

• Certifications: Not Specified

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience

• Other Qualifications: Nuclear and echocardiography board certification required; CT certification preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology care

• Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostic procedures

• Participate in call rotation including weekends

• Collaborate with APPs and interventional cardiology team

• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
